EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) Thursday was a big day for Golf Gives Back. The non-profit organization gave away over $50,000 to the 74 charities that participated in the “ticket sales program” at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.
Golf Gives Back chairman Jack Pate says days like Thursday are what it’s all about. Pate says, “That’s really our mission, the charitable giving aspect of the tournament. The tournament is a great for brand awareness of the Evansville region and it’s a world class event for our sponsors to bring customers out and experience the golf. But, really at the end of the day it’s all about charitable giving in the regional community.”
